2007 - The Year of the Teledu '07

Four of our members attended a fan run open convention called The year of the Teledu in July. We ran 2 activities, The Lost Room Treasure Hunt and The Battle of Serenity Water Pistol Fight. Unfortunately due to a certain amount of cliqueiness and apathy amongst the attending fans we only had 3 entries to the treasure hunt and the only team in the water fight was us as the rest of them didn't want to do it because it was raining. We did find some of the panels a bit strange, particularly the one we happened upon where a room full of people appeared to be having an orgasmic experience discussing various types of paper, Lisa and I had to leave the room before we collapsed in fits of giggles, we avoided paper related program items after that. That said apart from attending a couple of program items that were fun we made our own fun and enjoyed ourselves.
