Season 1

Episode 1 - The End
Following his refusal to hand over his cat for dissection, Dave Lister is placed in stasis to emerge 3 million years later to find the entire crew of the mining ship Red Dwarf is dead, killed by the radiation from a badly repaired drive plate. His only companions are Arnold Rimmer - a holographic simulation of his dead cabin mate, Holly - a senile computer that had an IQ of 6000 (before the accident) and a life form that evolved from Lister's cat. Let the fun commence.

Episode 2 - Future Echoes
In order to turn around and return to Earth, Red Dwarf must break the speed of light. The closer they get to light speed the further in the future the glimpses if the future the crew are experiencing get.

Episode 3 - Balance of Power
Lister decides to become an officer to out rank Rimmer. What Rimmer doesn't know is that he's not taking the engineering exam but the chef's exam.

Episode 4 - Confidence & Paranoia
When Lister catches a mutated form of pneumonia all of his hallucinations become real, causing it to rain fish in the corridor, the mayor of 16th Century Warsaw to spontaneously combust and Listers Confidence and Paranoia to manifest themselves as human.

Episode 5 - Waiting for God
Lister discovers that he is the cat peoples God, Cloister the Stupid, and meets their last priest, the only other surviving cat moments before his death. Meanwhile Rimmer waits to open a mysterious pod that he is convinced contains aliens who will be able to give him a new body.

Episode 6 - ME2
When Rimmer moves in with a duplicate hologram of himself it's a match made in heaven, or is it?

 

Season 2

Episode 1 - Kryten
When Red Dwarf picks up a distress call from the Nova 5, they mount a rescue mission to save the all female survivors and find only a service mechanoid called Kryten.

Episode 2 - Better Than Life
When the mail pod arrives the crew plug into the VR game "Better Than Life" where your every wish is granted. But Rimmer's belief that nothing good can happen to him soon ruins it for everyone.

Episode 3 - Thank For The Memory
Lister decides to give Rimmer the ultimate death day gift, his memories of his greatest love affair, but it all goes wrong.

Episode 4 - Stasis Leak
After finding a stasis leak the crew discover they can go back in time to before the accident that killed everyone.

Episode 5 - Queeg
Holly has been found to be incompetent so the back up computer, Queeg, takes over and he's much stricter than Holly ever was, but is everything as it seems?

Episode 6 - Parallel Universe
The 'Holly Hop Drive' takes Red Dwarf to a parallel universe where they all meet female versions of themselves in this opposite reality, only Cat is in for a surprise.

 

Season 3

Episode 1 - Backwards
Kryten and Rimmer crash land on Earth but time is running backwards.

Episode 2 - Marooned
When the crew evacuate whilst Holly navigates a field og 5 black holes, Lister and Rimmer crash on an Ice world where they soon run out of food anf heat, leaving Lister with the choice between pot noodle and dog food.

Episode 3 - Polymorph
A polymorph - a genetically engineered creature that ca change shape - comes on board and starts to feed off the crews emotions.

Episode 4 - Bodyswap
Lister agrees to swap bodies with Rimmer for 2 weeks so that Rimmer can get his body back into shape, but Rimmer reneges on the agreement.

Episode 5 - Timeslides
When Kryten finds some mutated developing fluid, the crew discover they can go into their photos and change history.

Episode 6 - The Last Day
The imminent arrival of Krytens replacement, the latest model, triggers Krytens built in expiry date and Kryten must prepare to die and go to silicon heaven, but what will happen if he's not ready to go when his replacement arrives?
Season 4

Episode 1 - Camille
Kryten rescues Camille, a mechanoid from a crashed spaceship, but how come each of the crew sees a different woman?

Episode 2 - DNA
The crew find a DNA alteration machine on a strange ship, but when the Cat gets his hands on it Kryten becomes human!

Episode 3 - Justice
When a prison ship lifepod is opened before the crew have ascertained who is is inside, a prison officer or a mad simulant murderer, the crew head to a prison world where all crimes are judged. Rimmer ends up with a 9000 year sentence for killing the crew of Red Dwarf.

Episode 4 - White Hole
After increasing Holly's IQ to 12,00 the crew encounter a White Hole that spews time into the universe. It's up to Lister to play pool with planets in order to plug the white hole and return the universe to normal.

Episode 5 - Dimension Jump
A ship from an alternate reality crashes into Starbug making it crash land on a water planet. The heroic pilot of the ship helps to repair Starbug before returning to Red Dwarf with the crew. And the hero is - Ace Rimmer an alternate version of Arnold J Rimmer!

Episode 6 - Meltdown
Kryten & Rimmer crash on a world populated by wax droids. The droids are at war, Good vs Evil. Rimmer decides to lead the forces of good and leads them in a final assault against the forces of evil, who capture Lister and The Cat when they arrive to rescue Rimmer and Kryten.
Season 5

Episode 1 - Holoship
The crew of Red Dwarf encounter a Holoship that takes Rimmer. Rimmer must compete against one of the Holocrew in order to gain a place aboard The Enlightenment. The only problem is he's fallen in love with the officer that faces deletion. Will Rimmer do the honourable thing or just be himself.

Episode 2 - The Inquisitor
The Inquisitor is a self repairing simulant that survived until the end of time and discovered there was no god. He decided to judge each person in history, deleting those who have led unworthy lives. Now he's reached the crew of Red Dwarf, will they be found worthy or not?

Episode 3 - Terrorform
Kryten and Rimmer land on a psy moon. A moon that terraforms itself to an individuals mind, in this case Rimmers. Lister, Cat and Kryten must take a stroll in Rimmers mind to rescue him from his own self-loathing.

Episode 4 - Quarantine
Rimmer puts rthe crew in quarantine when they encounter a holovirus. But when Rimmer turns up dressed in a gingham dress and army boots armed with a puppet with hex vision and talking to the king of the potato people it's obvious that the virus was already aboard Red Dwarf.

Episode 5 - Demons & Angels
Krytens triplicator malfunctions causing Red Dwarf to explode leaving behind 2 copies. One copy is everything that is good about Red Dwarf and it's crew, the everything bad. In order to reverse thre process and get Red Dwarf back the crew must reconstruct the triplicator except half is in the good ship and half in the bad along with good and bad versions of the crew.

Episode 6 - Back To Reality
The crew crash Starbug AGAIN after an encounter with a despair squid and discover that they have been playing a total immersion video game for the past 4 years. The crew discover their real identities are the complete opposite to who they thought they were. It's not long before despair sets in.
Season 6

Episode 1 - Psirens
The crew have lost Red Dwarf and Holly. After 200 years in deep sleep Kryten awakes the crew having reacquired Red Dwarf's trail. In order to catch the ship they must navigate an asteroid field that is crawling with Psirens, a genetically engineered life form that use illusion to lure you onto an asteroid so they they can suck out your brains.

Episode 2 - Legion
Starbug is tractored into what appears to be a deserted space station. Before long though there is a life sign reading. Legion lives aboard the station but he doesn't want the Dwarfers to leave he just wants to make them happy, cue raving lunatic number 31.

Episode 3 - Gunmen of the Apocalypse
When Starbug is infected with the Armageddon virus Kryten downloads it into his own programming to try to create a dove program. As he's losing the battle the rest of the crew join him via the Artificial Reality Console to try and help him.

Episode 4 - Emohawk - Polymorph II
When Lister leaves his GELF bride on their wedding night her father sends his pet Emohawk to drain the crews emotions. Cat and Rimmer are attacked turning them into Dwayne Dibbley and Ace Rimmer.

Episode 5 - Rimmerworld
Rimmer becomes trapped on a world the other side of a wormhole in a lifepod containing terraforming equipment. Due to the time dilation effect of the wormhole only a few hours will pass for the rest of the Dwarfers before they reach Rimmer but for him it will be 600 years. Alone he decides to create more people but the only DNA available to him is his own.

Episode 6 - Out of Time
After navigating a reality minefield, the crew find a derelict and salvage a time travel drive, all they need now is a faster than light drive. The crew are visted by their future selves from 15 years in the future, when they refuse to help them their future selves turn on Starbug and fire!
